Ireland’s inaugural National Picnic Day will take place around the country on September 26th, 2010.
Organised by An Taisce The National Trust for Ireland, National Picnic Day aims to celebrate Ireland’s heritage and landscape.
Offering you a Sunday lunch-time with a difference, eat and relax in the early Autumn sunshine with friends and family and enjoy the splendour of the Lisselan Gardens. Join us and people all over the country by packing a picnic.
National Picnic Day is a fundraising and awareness raising event for An Taisce The National Trust for Ireland. The charity hopes that from this small start an annual event that is part of everyone’s year will develop and grow.
