Lisselan Golf Course was opened in 1994, a six hole course. A new extension opened for play in 2004 making the course 9 hole. For the first 10 years the course was available exclusively for green fees and gained much international acclaim with golf travel writers, sporting personalities and the general golf playing public.
In 2004, Lisselan Golf Club has been formed with the course open to green fees and members, seven days a week. The new par 72 layout (nine holes played from different tee boxes) consists of 4 par 5, 4 par 3 and 10 par 4 holes. The course is one of the most challenging and picturesque courses to be played anywhere in the country.
